St. Mary Church and St. Rose of Lima Church

Hello everyone, it's that time of year again.  We need to begin planning for our Religious Education program. The opening CCD Mass, for students and families, will be held on September 6th at 6:00 pm. Registration forms will be available in the office and in the back of St. Mary's and St. Rose's churches beginning the weekend of August 19-20, 2023. 

The last date to register will be September 18, 2023.  Pass the word to your family and friends.

Classes held every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm (K - 6th Grade) and 7:00-8:30 pm for (7th-12th grade)

Great News:  I will be adding a kindergarten class this year.  It will hold about 20 students.

We will continue with:

1st Grade

2nd Grade - Prepare and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation

3rd Grade - Prepare and receive the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation

4th - 6th Grade - Sacramental preparation class– Prepare and receive the sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation

4th - 6th Grade - RCIC (2 year program) For students that need Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation. These students will receive Baptism and Reconciliation the 1st year and Holy Communion and Confirmation the 2nd year.

7th - 12th Grade - Sacramental preparation class– Prepare students for reception of Confirmation. 

We will continue with our Youth Groups:

4th - 6th Grade Youth Group will meet every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm.

7th - 12th Grade Youth Group will meet every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Parents, it is important that you continue your child's religious education past the reception of the sacraments.  Learning about our faith is a lifelong endeavor.  Do not stop bringing your children to CCD because they have received all their sacraments.  It is your responsibility to continue to educate your children in the Catholic faith that you have baptized them into.
