THE PARENT ASSIGNMENT IS:
- watch the first episode of THE SEARCH — “What do you seek?”
- have a discussion with your family (particularly your kids who are in CCD but it’s a good thing
for everyone to talk about...) about the big questions like:
• What is the purpose of our life?
• What do we desire from life?
• What is our heart seeking?
• What are we made for?
• What makes people unhappy?
o How can we be happy?
• What is happiness?
- Parents know their kids and should know the best way to bring up these deep questions! You
probably know a better way of asking these questions so that your kids can understand what we
are thinking about. Your children’s thoughts and answers might be simple, but you might be
surprised at how profound they can be.
When we have the first talk from Fr. Josh on 10/07, he will begin by speaking of the human
person, what we are like, how we are made, what our hearts truly desire, and how that leads us
to seek God and His love.
INFORMATION REGARDING THE REOPENING OF PUBLIC MASSES
At this time, NO ONE IS OBLIGED TO RETURN TO PUBLIC MASS. Bishop Wall recognizes that public activity at this time, even worship, is a calculated risk, and he has NOT reinstated the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. IF YOU ARE ILL, NOT FEELING WELL, OR ARE PARTICULARLY AT RISK, we ask you to remain at home for your own good and the good of your neighbor. We continue praying for an end to this pandemic and when we can return to full Parish operation.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY, as there have been many changes to our schedule and there are many new protocols in place for attending Mass.

PRAYER DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
O clement, O loving, O sweet Mother Mary,
We, your children of every nation,
Turn to you in this pandemic.
Our troubles are numerous; our fears are great.
Grant that we might deposit them at your feet,
Take refuge in your Immaculate Heart,
And obtain peace, healing, rescue,
And timely help in all our needs.
You are our Mother.
Pray for us to your Son.
PRAYER OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
